ABOUT CAS

Featured Article

Cider Appreciation Society (CAS) was founded by two LSE Economics undergraduates, Ania Padamczyk and Tom Glen Harry, in the summer of 2014.

Following an uninspiring year of Lagrangeans and endless internship applications, they took issue with the number of career-focused societies at LSE.

Surely there could be more to university life than meeting a bank's HR team?

Further, there existed no society at LSE catering for cider drinkers and appreciators.

Thus CAS was born - and charged with a mission.

  • To bring together people and cider.

  • To spread knowledge of cider to the student body and wider community.

  • To create an inclusive environment, where people can meet others while enjoying cider.

CAS's membership currently totals 150. To learn more about the people behind Cider Appreciation Society, check out the website's TEAM section.

So keep calm, sign up, and drink cider!
